This is an amazing guide! We head to New Orleans in a couple of weeks and I wanted to know if you recommend any of the Sunday jazz brunches (at Commander’s Palace for example) or if those are better off skipped in lieu of a more ‘authentic’ meal? Thanks again for all of these wonderful suggestions.
katie, sorry– i just saw this. honestly, if there is time for lunch- i would suggest oysters everywhich way at Casamento’s OR po-boys at Domilisce’s. That is such a pure/ true snap shot New Orleans.
Love this. NOLA is one of my favorite cities, Swanson is one of my favorite wines and I could not live without OKL.
